Our country is experiencing an upheaval that could not have predicted even a few short months ago. First, we faced the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought death and widespread unemployment.  And, most recently, another Black person has been killed by a police officer in the United States.

No life should be at risk because of the color of one’s skin.  But as the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and too many others have made clear, racism and injustice continue to exist.

As the owner of QuickSilva, I feel compelled to condemn racism and inequality, and to reaffirm the Firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.  We must stand up against acts and words of intolerance, racism, divisiveness, and hate.  And we must all commit to listening and learning from each other without regard to differences in backgrounds or perspectives, with respect and tolerance.

We are all equal.
